The new menu, called 5/50, is available for both lunch and dinner from Thursday to Saturday. Each course is prepared in Kray’s unique style, using the finest ingredients while ensuring that everything is sourced locally and ethically, delighting diners with enticing and complex dishes.

As you take a seat at 670 Grams, immerse yourself in an environment that reflects Birmingham's essence, blending its industrial past with a modern future, and highlighting the cultural milestones that have shaped this welcoming city over the centuries.

Prepare for an indulgent experience as Kray guides you on a multi-course journey that explores the diverse flavours defining Birmingham.

The 5/50 menu draws inspiration from the area, featuring elements from local landmarks such as Digbeth, home to the oldest building in Birmingham and the original Bird's Custard Factory; Bournville, known for its chocolate; the famous Balti Triangle along Stratford Road; and Hurst Street, Ladywell Walk, and Pershore Street, the heart of Chinatown.

Unlike many chefs who take their inspiration solely from land or sea, Kray and his team draw from the rich cultural tapestry that constitutes Birmingham, a city at the centre of the UK. This influences their creation of a globally inspired tasting menu, prepared with the highest quality ingredients.

Kray Treadwell commented: ‘’670 Grams is a restaurant to most, but to me, Sacha, and our team, it’s our home. It’s a place to express ourselves, where we can use all of our experience to showcase the best of the City to our guests. Our new 5/50 Menu has been designed to show what this brilliant city we call home is about and what makes it tick. We set out to do things differently when we opened five years ago, and we’re still doing that now, by making sure that creative and inspiring dining is accessible to everyone, whether that’s a taste of what’s on offer through our 5/50 Menu or the full-blown thing with our Signature Menu.’’

670 Grams opened in 2020. Kray and Sacha wanted to create a restaurant that was approachable for everyone. After working in Michelin-starred restaurants around the country, they always found it fascinating that all too frequently it wasn’t affordable for most to eat in a restaurant that you were most likely to be inspired by. With that in mind they deliberately set out to break the mold and create a dining space where guests could enjoy all their kitchen has to offer, whether that’s in the form of their new 5/50 menu or Kray’s Signature Tasting Menu.
