Melloney Scotford, a Store Assistant at the Stourbridge store, first joined the supermarket in 1995 after previously working for another retailer.
Melloney worked at the Brierley Hill and Netherton stores before moving to the Stourbridge store 16 years ago. She is now an integral part of Aldi’s Stourbridge team, going above and beyond in her role over the years.
Speaking of her time at Aldi, Melloney commented: “It’s the people who make Aldi such a great place to work, from my fantastic colleagues to the wonderful customers that I get to speak to each day.“
As for a Specialbuy that gets her running to the middle aisle, Melloney said: “There are so many to choose from! I love buying the toys and gifts for my grandchildren.”
Marius Manolescu, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK, said: “With around 45,000 colleagues in the UK, it’s fair to say that people are our biggest and most brilliant asset at Aldi.
“Melloney is no exception, and her commitment to Aldi’s values is testament to why we are loved by so many. We look forward to celebrating even more of her achievements in the coming years.”
