First, in continued partnership with Digbeth events space The Old Library, we bring beloved Birmingham historian Prof. Carl Chinn MBE to Birmingham on Monday 10th March. He’ll be hosting another riveting evening of historic tales with a focus on the infamous Peaky Blinders and Digbeth’s deep-rooted connection to Irish culture and heritage.
Then on Friday 14th March, we’ll be showing all the action from the Cheltenham Gold Cup Races, broadcasting live all day on our huge outdoor screen. But that’s not all! The Old Crown is also bringing back much-loved Fleetwood Mac night that very same evening, with LIVE music from tribute act Rhiannon - most audacious Mac outfits are highly encouraged!
The highlight of the Six Nations tournament will then fall on Saturday 15th March; with free entry and final fixtures screened all day long at The Old Crown - including clashes between Italy V Ireland, Wales V England, France V Scotland, and LIVE MUSIC from Lampa by night - this is one Six Nations: Super Saturday not to be missed!
And while the official Parade Day celebrations have sadly been cancelled, The Old Crown will continue to host its very own “Parade Day” party on Sunday 16th March! Expect all the same St Pats shenanigans running from 11am til late, including live music from On The Sesh Band, Ire-Ish, Jack Banting, Ash Sheehan and DJs playing party tunes until close.
Finally, for the official St Patrick’s Day celebrations on Monday 17th March, The Old Crown will host Traditional Irish Music LIVE in the main bar alongside an exclusive Irish-themed food and drinks menu - music and special offers running all day and all night long!
