This year, the theme for Earth Day is ‘Our Power, Our Planet’ which calls for a push towards renewable energy. Bristol is already ahead of the curve, with a growing surge of green energy initiatives. And with a goal to be carbon neutral by 2030, Bristol is setting the standard for other UK cities.

Bristol joins an elite line-up of sustainability titans, including Bhutan, Wellington, the Galapagos, and Oslo. But the city’s “laid-back yet lively vibe” sets it apart. Visitors can truly experience what green living is like here; Bristol is full of planet-friendly restaurants, ethical shops, and eco-friendly activities, like the Create Centre, a vibrant hub of eco workshops, events, and exhibitions.
