Simon Rudiger, CEO of MK Christian Foundation and Co-chair of Cycling Citizens MK alliance, said: “We are an alliance of local organisations and groups that want to see more people on their bikes, cycling around Milton Keynes, making full use of our parks and redways for commuting, shopping, school runs, fitness, wellbeing, and socialising. We are excited to promote this festival as a way to both find out more about how you can get cycling, as well as sharing your passion for getting on a bike.”
There are loads of ways to join in: guided bike rides, maintenance sessions, a photography competition, Follow the Rabbit and a chance to ride around the pitch at the MK Dons Football Club stadium. Take a look at https://getaroundmk.org.uk/events/the-mayors-festival-of-cycling to find out more.
Let us know how you get involved, leave a comment, send us a picture. We'd love to hear how this has inspired you to get on your bike in Milton Keynes. Cyclng Citizens MK | Facebook
