Midlothian Walking Rugby’s pledge of £250 was generously matched by their shirt sponsor 99 Ventures, making the total donated £500.
Janice Burns thanked the donation and commented that “They are very busy at the moment and the money will be put to good use in the Community”.
Midlothian Walking Rugby are a newly constituted club and meet at Dalkeith RFC on Fridays at 2.30pm.
