CWA’s Nicola Adams brings expertise to Leicestershire County Cricket Club board in new role

Nicola Adams, Managing Director of renowned Leicester-based B2M full-service agency, CWA, has been appointed to the board of Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC), marking another exciting chapter in the growth of the Glenfield-based full-service marketing and communications agency.

Nicola Adams - MD for CWA

Nicola has two decades of commercial and creative leadership, including 13 years as managing director at CWA – during which time she has overseen a significant transformation of the business, expanded its global client base and refocused its offering towards a full-service business-to-many (B2M) model. In her new additional role with LCCC, she will be looking to support the team and share her knowledge and experience with the board.

Nicola commented: “Leicester is such an important part of CWA’s identity and I’m incredibly proud to have been invited to join the board at Leicestershire County Cricket Club. The club has deep roots in the local community, but also shares many of the same ambitions and values that we have at CWA – to evolve, to build something long-lasting and to grow our reach and reputation.

“For me personally, it’s a real honour to support the board with a fresh perspective and to contribute to the next phase of the club’s development. I’m also excited about the opportunity to create new connections and give something back to the community that has supported CWA for the last 60 years.”

Sean Jarvis, CEO of Leicestershire County Cricket added: “It’s great to have Nicola join the board. She brings with her not only crucial business acumen, but a highly tuned skill set of marketing and communications, which can only assist the progress of our club.”

CWA is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2025, having grown from a local business into a globally operating creative agency delivering results-driven PR, design, digital, events and communications for international clients.

Nicola’s appointment follows a period of collaboration between the two organisations, as the agency continues to expand its portfolio across sectors including transport, health and hygiene and future technology.
