Taylor Wimpey hosts resident ecology project in Sinfin

Residents at Taylor Wimpey's Boundary Moor Gardens development recently joined forces to build an insect hotel and encourage local wildlife to make the development their home.

Taylor Wimpey North Midlands recently organised a community day at its Boundary Moor Gardens development dedicated to encouraging community togetherness and strengthening relationships.

The housebuilder tasked residents with creating an insect hotel from scratch that, once created, would then be housed on the development. Residents were provided with the resources and materials, and were given two hours to work together to oversee the creative process.

Zsolt Varga, resident at Boundary Moor Gardens, said: “In collaboration with Taylor Wimpey, we were able to organise another fantastic community event - this time building ‘bug hotels’!”

“The kids were like busy little ants, helping us create a cosy home for insects - supporting biodiversity

and showing that it’s not only our community that thrives in harmony with each other, but also with

nature. I’m proud to be part of this initiative, proud of our growing community, and truly grateful to Taylor Wimpey for being such a supportive partner along the way.”

Sarah Hartley-Hill, Customer Director at Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, said: “We’re so pleased to see the insect hotel is now up at Boundary Moor Gardens. We’d like to thank all our Boundary Moor Gardens residents who took part in the community day and made it such a fun and exciting experience for all who attended.

“At Taylor Wimpey we prioritise the local ecological network and it’s great that our residents share the same values and were willing to work with us to create an insect hotel for our Sinfin development. Now the insect hotel is in place, we look forward to welcoming new arrivals to the development and are excited to see what new wildlife the summer months bring.”

Nestled on the outskirts of the picturesque Derbyshire countryside, Boundary Moor Gardens offers a serene escape for its residents, with its lush green open spaces and charming bridle footpaths perfect for those enjoying leisurely walks or invigorating bike rides as the weather warms up.

With just one home remaining, now is the ideal time for prospective buyers to explore the idyllic development that’s been established at Boundary Moor Gardens in Sinfin.

Taylor Wimpey’s nearby Arnett Grove development has recently been launched, with a variety of properties on sale that have been thoughtfully designed to suit a wide range of buyers that’re seeking their dream home.
