Following its recent feature in The Guardian, Gals FC continues its mission to get 150,000 women playing football each week, expanding for the first time into the Midlands.

The Derby sessions will run every Tuesday at 7:00 PM and are led by local Vibe Protectors Jenny Romeo and Amber Fletcher.

Founded by best friends Lorne Magill and Nora Beqaj, Gals FC is about more than football – it’s about joy, connection, and community.

“We don’t keep score – we cheer every goal,” says Lorne. “70% of our members have never played before, and 90% say their mental health has improved. This is football for absolutely everyone.”
