On May 18, members of the club's second team will setting out to run a marathon of singles.
Posting on their Facebook page, the club said: "The challenge will involve our second team squad running up and down our non-turf wicket in full kit until they have completed a marathon."
The challenge will start at 10am and will take around four hours.
During the challenge, the club's junior teams will be playing games of Kwik Cricket on the outfield and having net sessions.
The clubhouse will be open throughout for refreshments.
The club continued: "We invite you down to the ground to support our second team on the day, and witness this extraordinary challenge.
"Our club's purpose is to provide cricketing and leisure facilities to all our members as well as the wider community so the game of cricket can flourish, individuals fulfil their cricketing potential, and the wellbeing of all participants is enhanced, all in a safe and inclusive community.
"Over the next three years, in time for the club's 150th anniversary in 2028, we have plans to invest in the ground so we can offer first class sporting and leisure opportunities for local residents and businesses.
"This includes developing a brand new clubhouse for member and community use and state of the art training facilities.
"To do this we need sponsors and donations to help us on our way.
