Hawkridge joined the Red Badgers for an undisclosed fee from Worksop Town having previously featured for the likes of Solihull Moors, Scunthorpe United and Lincoln City to name a few.
The newest recruit was a huge fans' favourite at Worksop, narrowly missing out on promotion to Step 2 last season, falling short in the play-offs.
Joint Eastwood manager Martin Ball said: “Terry was always someone DT and myself spoke about as a possible signing, but in truth was always in a couple of years time.
“So when we were made aware of the opportunity we knew we would have to move fast to get it over the line.
“Tez is without doubt one of, if not the best talent in Nottinghamshire football in recent years and the clubs he has played for and career he has had shows that. Technically, he is the best player I have played with.
“It’s a huge statement of intent from the football club and is a sign of the direction of the club and where we want to be. DT and myself want to thank the chairman for backing us with this signing.
“It shows the belief he has in us as managers, and again shows the way he wants the club to go and how successful he wants us to be. Welcome to the club Tez.”
Owner and chairman Lee Wood said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have secured a player of Terry's calibre.
“He’s a proven talent with experience and quality that will undoubtedly take our team to the next level.
“We’ve been looking to add someone who can bring experience, leadership and talent, and Terry fits that perfectly.”
Hawkridge said “I'm absolutely buzzing that everything has been sorted so quickly. I couldn’t be more pleased to be here.
“All I want to do is play football, enjoy the game, and win trophies, and I know I can achieve that here. Talking with DT and Martin about the vision and the success they’re aiming for has been really exciting, and I’m ready to do everything I can to help the club reach those goals.”
Hawkridge made an impressive debut in Saturday’s home match with Bourne Town but was unable to prevent a 3-1 defeat.
