Specsavers Bury has opened an additional room to offer hearing services seven days a week. Offering both NHS and private hear care, the team have undergone training to deliver a range of audiology services – including hearing checks, hearing aid fittings and ear wax removal – using the very latest in industry technology.

Customers over the age of 18 can also opt for a free 3-minute hearing check on the shop floor which allows colleagues to then advise if the customer requires a full hearing check. This service is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am-2pm and doesn’t require an appointment.

Alongside the increased hearing services, Specsavers Bury has also opened a sixth optical room to help reduce waiting times for customers with eye emergencies or minor eye conditions.

The expansion comes following an increased demand for care in the area, with the store now offering both optical and hearing services seven days a week.

The store now has more dedicated testing space and increased availability to test, doubling the number of available appointments.

The expansion has been overseen by Danielle Kinsella who has been working at the store for over 10 years and has recently progressed to become the new store manager.

Danielle says: ‘We’re delighted to be able to increase our offering to support the local community and make it even more accessible for those who need our care.

‘Now with the increased capacity, we can reach more people and provide these essential services.’
