STARBECK CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

The Starbeck Christmas Lights Appeal Christmas fair raised £1,788 on the day!   Organiser Chrissie Holmes wishes to send many thanks to the fabulous volunteers, the Starbeck Lights Team and stall holders for making this possible. Also thanks to Tom’s Tech/Beths Craft Shed, Elite Meat, The Red Box  High Street,  Starbeck who are accepting donations to the Starbeck Christmas Lights Appeal until December 23.  Donations can also be made by bank transfer to: Starbeck Christmas Lights Appeal, Account no: 16666344, Sort code: 05-04-54.

STARBECK COMMUNITY LIBRARY

If you would like to create some Christmas sparkle there is a jewellery making session on Saturday December 21 10am-noon.  The session is aimed at students from year 6 upwards.  Equipment and material provided with guidance from experienced tutors.  Tickets are just £5 and available at the library.

The library will close on Christmas Eve, Tuesday,  December 24 1pm and re-open on Friday January 3 2025 2pm.

The library send their best wishes for a very Happy Christmas and New Year to all and thank their loyal supporters.

ECHO42 BIG BAND

Yorkshires longest running big band, Echo42 will be performing at Starbeck Methodist Church  on Sunday 12 January 2025 2.30pm.  Entry is £10, pay at the door.
