The Bookface Sip & Swap hosted by avid reader Heather Suttie will include a curated book swap with over 300 lifestyle, culinary, fashion wellness and lifestyle healthy titles to choose from. There will also be a luxury raffle raising funds for Refuweegee—a Glasgow-based charity that gives people a way to warmly welcome displaced people arriving in the city.
Guests are encouraged to bring 2-4 culinary and lifestyle books in great condition to swap and take home new titles.
There will also be a luxury raffle filled with prizes for foodies, beauty and wellness fans and book lovers, with every penny raised going directly to Refuweegee’s work welcoming people to Glasgow with essentials, comfort and a sense of belonging.
Drinks will be served throughout the event, courtesy of Rickshaw & Co.—a vibrant Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant in Glasgow’s West End that’s fast becoming a must-visit food destination in Scotland and is known not just for its bold flavours and creative dishes, but for the warmth and hospitality that runs through everything they do.
