The packs incoiude a device which fits onto a tea or coffee mug and tells the user when it is full to avoid scalding, a signature template for signing documents, a fridge magnet with Society contact details for family and friends to refer to and stick-on guides for things like appliance temperature settings.
The money has come from the Mark Benevolent Fund, which is funded by Mark Masons, whose membership is drawn from amongst Lincolnshire’s 3,000 Freemasons.
The money was handed over by Steve Hallberg, the senior figure of Lincolnshire’s Mark Freemasons, who said: “These very simple but very effective things are a massive help to the people the society is here to help, and we are proud to have been of assistance.
Long may they continue their good work.”
Accompanied by Charity Steward Mick Stocker, Steve handed a cheque for £11,604 To Karen Reeson, Ingrid Ashton, and Hilary Smith of the Society at an event in Louth.
