Barratt London has announced the launch of the Cunningham Apartments at Eastman Village in Harrow – offering a selection of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments to prospective buyers in the heart of a top London re-development area.

The latest collection of 70 homes at Eastman Village will be among the closest to Harrow & Wealdstone station which operates on the Bakerloo and Lioness lines. While there were post-pandemic reports of a rise in working from home, research from YouGov in collaboration with Barratt London found that easy access to public transport links still topped 75 per cent of Londoners’ wish lists when choosing a new home.

Located on the site of the former Kodak film factory, Eastman Village is a joint venture between Barratt London & Hyde Group and part of a larger £1.75bn improvement scheme in Harrow which will include two new schools, 3,000 jobs, shops, leisure facilities and commercial space.

Boasting five train lines running into the capital and having been ranked in the top three Boroughs for education, the development is set to be a popular location for families and commuters alike.

The latest block is 15-storeys tall and is one of the tallest buildings within the development, residents in the upper floors of the apartments will benefit from elevated views. Apartments come in one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts with spacious open-plan living and a balcony or terrace, providing residents with that all-important outdoor space.

Future residents will benefit from 6.2 acres of extensive landscaped parkland and gardens within the development. There is also a residents' gym, 12-hour concierge service, landscaped podium garden, planned cafés, restaurant, and supermarket.

Joseph Antoniazzi, Sales and Marketing Director for Barratt West London, said: “Harrow is becoming an increasingly well-connected and desirable area, residents both past and present can find themselves enjoying a Zone 2 lifestyle, at a Zone 5 price point.

“From conversations we’ve had with buyers recently, we are increasingly seeing more people being called back to the office. For those heading into work five days a week, a quick and easy commute is a must have. Harrow has the magic combination of keeping the capital within easy reach, while still enjoying plenty of green spaces on the doorstep, such as Headstone Manor Park, Harrow Recreation Park, and the Old Redding Nature Reserve.

"Cunningham Apartments is the first phase at Eastman Village to offer a concierge service, this combined with the on-site gym allows for round the clock service. Meaning future residents have the flexibility to go about their day at the office without the worry of missing a delivery, or fitting a workout in during the lunchtime rush.”

Residents can reach Euston Station in just 12 minutes by train from Harrow & Wealdstone station. For residents who travel via the underground, the station also services the Bakerloo line.
