Sue Eynon received compassionate end-of-life care at Michael Sobell House, part of Harlington Hospice, over the Christmas period. In gratitude for this outstanding support, John rallied friends and fellow Freemasons, raising £1,916 in personal donations.

This was significantly enhanced by £5,000 from the Middlesex Province Relief Fund, £5,500 from the Round Table Lodge of Middlesex, and matched funding from the Masonic Charitable Fund, bringing the total to £11,000. Additional support came from Norman Moore Lodge, Middlesex Masters (Uxbridge), Christopher Wren Lodge of Mark Master, and the Round Table Chapter.

This remarkable act of generosity highlights not only the charitable nature of Freemasonry but also the powerful bonds of fellowship. John Eynon described the outpouring of love and support he received as "a catalyst of generosity," helping others facing similar journeys.

Harlington Hospice expressed heartfelt thanks, noting that the donation will support vital services, including their new end-of-life information portal offering practical, financial, and clinical guidance.

In a time of personal loss, Middlesex Freemasonry has demonstrated the enduring spirit of giving — a true testament to charity in action.
