Hundreds of eager shoppers came to see the grand unveiling of the new London-based store, which showcases the very best of the brand’s trend-led designs in an all-new, inspirational and easy-to-shop store format.

The 4,500 sq. ft store is stocked with an array of Christmas must-haves, alongside classic Dunelm collections including The Edited Life, Dorma and the contemporary and colourful Elements range.

Dunelm dished out exclusive goody bags to the first 100 lucky customers that came through the doors and those who arrived a little later searched for 30 golden tickets, containing vouchers ranging from £5 to £20 which were hidden around the store.

At the opening, shoppers also enjoyed a range of festivities, including performances from a local choir who sang Christmas hymns to eager customers waiting in the queue.

The shop was officially opened by Shepherds Bush Family Project, a local charity which supports families who are homeless or living in unsuitable accommodation.  As part of the launch, Dunelm also donated £10,000 to the charity, which will help fund a number of their vital services in the community, including counselling and after school clubs as well as childcare and family-friendly activities.

Dale Rainbow, Store Manager at Dunelm Westfield, commented: “We’re so proud to have opened our latest store in Westfield White City. The team has worked incredibly hard to get everything set up and it was amazing to welcome our community into our new London home. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the day – it will certainly be one to remember.”

Tina Mayers, CEO at Shepherds Bush Family project added: “It was amazing to be part of Dunelm’s big day and officially cut the ribbon for their new store. Our services are needed now more than ever and we’re so grateful to Dunelm for their generous donation that will make sure we’re able to provide all-important support to those in our community.”

The store is also home to dedicated bedding, lighting, furniture and home accessories departments, showcasing the breadth of products that the British-born homewares retailer has to offer, as it finally lands in Central London after 40 years of UK store openings. Customers are invited to join the local Dunelm Westfield Community Support Facebook Group where they can keep up to date with everything going on in-store.
