In 2024, FASTSIGNS St Albans supported London-based, Elephant Family, a registered wildlife charity – part of The British Asian Trust – to provide acrylic panels to feature on the stands of 12 decorative eggs, which were scattered around London as part of its ‘Little Egg Hunt’.
This year, FASTSIGNS is returning to help. In partnership with prestigious egg producer, Clarence Court, and Elephant Family, over 100 eggs will be displayed in ‘The Big Egg Hunt’, each painted live by famous artists.
The signs, graphics and visual communications firm, which has worked with brands such as McLaren and Ocado, was tasked with once again creating the acrylic panels that will showcase both the talented artists and brands involved, including names like Anya Hindmarch, LUAP, Fortnum & Mason, Chopard, Philip Colbert, Duncan Campbell and Charlotte Rey, alongside logos from supporting organisations.
Ahead of the exhibition being launched, it was key that each egg was paired with the correct, corresponding signage, before being thoroughly quality-checked by the FASTSIGNS team.
In support of Elephant Family, families are encouraged to follow the trail around London from 24 March until mid-April, ‘collecting’ the eggs and ticking them off on the free app, to reveal prizes along the way.
Once the exhibition ends, the sculptures will be auctioned off, with funds raised going towards the charity’s conservation efforts.
Commenting on the brand’s work on The Big Egg Hunt, Rosie Lees, visual communications consultant at FASTSIGNS St Albans, said:
“We’ve been lucky enough to work on some incredible projects here at FASTSIGNS St Albans, but this one tops the bill, thanks to its vibrant, fun-nature.
“We loved our time working with Elephant Family last year and to see the campaign rolled out again – because of its popularity in 2024 – is fantastic as it means that not only do we get to roll up our sleeves and show what we can do, we also get to shine a light on the work of talented people through our signage solutions. That’s the beauty of signage; it gives you the chance to showcase brilliant things and people and we’re proud to be doing our bit to create a cracking trail this year.”
