Lauren Disley (she/her), 27 will welcome business owners from across the Greater Manchester area for the launch of The NETwork’s Manchester chapter. With a mission to create empowering spaces that embrace difference and support visibility, Lauren is set to create something very special for the city’s business scene.
As the founder of The Lost Squirrel Creatives, Lauren supports businesses with strategic design solutions that help them show up powerfully, whether online, at events, or on stage. Her work is values-led, championing empowerment, adaptability and inclusivity. She brings that same ethos to The NETwork.
Lauren said: "Hosting Manchester’s NETwork events is honestly a dream. I’ve been to so many networking events that either felt too stiff, too cliquey, or too casual to make meaningful connections. What I love about The NETwork is that it’s none of those things, it’s open, kind, and real. You don’t need to fit a mold to be welcomed."
She added: "I know how overwhelming traditional business spaces can feel, especially when you’re neurodivergent, new to the room, or navigating barriers others can’t always see. The NETwork is different. It’s about making people feel heard, valued, and supported exactly as they are. I can’t wait to welcome Manchester’s brilliant business community into this space."
Created by Regina Martin and run through The Confidence Healer Ltd, The NETwork continues to expand across the UK with local hosts bringing events to life in Birmingham, Sheffield, London and beyond. Each in-person gathering offers connection, collaboration and a celebration of difference, with no pressure, just possibility.
