For over 60 years, the group has provided a creative space for writers of all levels to share their work, receive constructive feedback, and connect with a supportive community of fellow writers.
Now, with the release of Ink Spill, the group is once again showcasing the incredible talent emerging from the North West.
To celebrate the launch, the group will host a launch party on March 21st at 7:30 pm at Rain Bar in Manchester. The event will offer attendees the chance to meet the writers behind the anthology and celebrate Manchester’s literary talent.
Jak Stocker, one of the anthology’s writers said. “There’s a world of literary talent out there, and I’m so proud to be part of a Mancunian corner of it. This anthology really brings together a range of local voices, each offering something unique and special.”
For some, it’s their first time being published, and a chance to reach a wider audience alongside other local writers.
Andrea Hughes, another writer featured in the anthology, reflected on the significance of the project: “Writing can often feel like a solitary pursuit, especially when working on long-term projects. However, sharing my work with other local authors and receiving their feedback is what motivated me to be a part of this anthology.”
Ink Spill is now available for purchase, with copies available at the launch event at Rain Bar on March 21st at 7:30 pm, as well as through online retailers.
Whether you’re a fan of poetry, fiction, or anything in between, this anthology offers something for every reader, all while celebrating the incredible talent coming out of Manchester
