Founded in 1983 and based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, PDJ Vibro supplies specialised vibratory finishing machines, complemented by sales of products used in polishing and subcontracted solutions.
The company’s new, used and economy machinery is utilised by a diverse range of sectors primarily within the UK, ensuring customers’ budgetary requirements can be met, while a repair and maintenance service is also operated.
In a transaction led by Tom Eatough, KBS Corporate Director, PDJ Vibro was the subject of a strategic acquisition by SurfacePrep, a Michigan-based leading provider of surface enhancement solutions.
The acquisition marks a significant milestone in SurfacePrep’s expansion strategy, aimed at enhancing its presence in the UK and leveraging PDJ Vibro’s expertise and established brand.
PDJ Vibro will continue to operate under its own name, maintaining its brand identity while benefiting from SurfacePrep’s extensive resources and support. The strategic move is expected to enhance both companies’ product offerings, improve service capabilities and provide opportunities for cross-training and sharing best practices.
