Dalziel St Andrew Parish Church

A special weekend of events is planned for 2nd and 3rd of November. An Open Church day is taking place on Saturday 2 November from 10.00a.m. until 2.00p.m. with a display showing details of the church history as well as a comprehensive display of up-to-date activities and current membership. All very welcome to drop in and have a look around the display boards and posters with an invitation to also drop into the hall for some refreshments. No charge is being made.

On Sunday morning (3 November) the celebrations continue with a special service of worship to which all are invited. Afterwards all welcome to head for the large hall and enjoy a Buffet Lunch plus refreshments. Again no charge is being made as we mark this special occasion.

The weekend celebrations conclude with a service of thanksgiving including sharing the Sacrament of Communion. This service will commence at 6.30p.m.

The morning service will, as usual, be live streamed to allow those who cannot attend to join in the worship with a DVD recording available for those without access to the internet. Contact our church office (01698 264097) if you wish a copy of the DVD delivered. A you Tube recording will also be available for catch-up later.

This Sunday all are welcome at morning worship when Alistair May will be reflecting on some further verses from Proverbs. All sections of creche and Young Church welcome existing and new young ones. Teas and coffees available in the hall after the service.

Rotary in Lanarkshire is organising Wrap Up Lanarkshire and looking for donations of good quality coats and jackets which will be passed on to local charities to help adults and children in crisis. A box lies at the hall doors to receive any donations. Thank you.

Crosshill Parish Church has a “Coffee and Chat” each Thursday morning from 11.00 until 12.15. Why not drop in for a chat and some refreshments.

This year’s Christmas Fayre will be held on Saturday 7 December starting at 11.00a.m.”
