Eternity Funeral Services, based in Corby, was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to bring a more personal, compassionate, and community-centred approach to funeral care.
Led by sibling owners Katie Varden and Matthew Brown, Eternity is quickly becoming known not just for dignified services, but for the lasting connections they build with local families.
“Our aim has always been to change how people view funeral care,” says Katie. “We want to be more than just a service provider, we want to be familiar faces, people you feel comfortable turning to in your hardest moments, and part of the community in everyday life.”
That commitment to community was on full display this Easter, when Eternity Funeral Services organised a free Easter Egg Hunt for local children in Corby. On a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon, over 120 children took part in the event, and chocolate eggs were joyfully handed out, with help from the beloved Eternity Easter Bunny.
But the fun didn’t stop there. The Eternity Bunny made special appearances at four local care homes, bringing smiles and chocolate treats to residents who were delighted by the thoughtful visit. The Bunny also visited Lakelands Hospice, a local day hospice providing palliative and end-of-life care for people with life-limiting illnesses, where the Eternity team supported an Easter-themed fundraising event.
“It’s all about connection,” Katie adds. “We believe in giving back, in being present, and in showing people that we care, not just in times of loss, but in everyday moments that bring joy. These small acts mean a lot, and we’re proud to be part of a community that embraces them.”
As Eternity Funeral Services continues to grow, so does its reputation, not only as a trusted provider of funeral care but as a dedicated family team bringing light and warmth into the lives of those around them.
