The immersive cultural experience, playfully dubbed "Nacho Average Trip," brought the sights, sounds, aromas, and tastes of Mexico directly to the residents.
With passports in hand, residents embarked on a sensory journey exploring Mexico's rich history, stunning landscapes, and festive traditions. The carefully curated experience engaged all five senses through traditional music, captivating storytelling, colourful imagery, and the enticing aromas of authentic sweet and savoury Mexican dishes courtesy of the homes talented chefs.
"Our armchair travel program is designed to provide more than just entertainment," said Joanna Mosses, General Manager at Claremont Parkway. "These immersive experiences offer mental stimulation, encourage social engagement, and promote emotional well-being by sparking memories and conversation."
The Mexico-themed event is part of Claremont Parkway's ongoing commitment to enriching residents' lives through creative programming that nurtures a sense of adventure and connection to the wider world. Residents particularly enjoyed the food tasting, music and dressing in authentic ponchos and sombreros!
