The Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards, formerly known as the STARS Awards, is organised by Visit Nottinghamshire, and took place on March 20th 2025 at the East Midlands Conference Centre. The awards night is an annual celebration of the tourism, leisure, culture and hospitality sectors across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
At this year’s event, Holme Pierrepont Country Park won the Bronze Award for Visitor Attraction of the Year and the Silver Award for Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year.
The Camping, Glamping, and Holiday Park of the Year award honours venues that deliver outstanding guest experiences, while the Visitor Attraction of the Year category recognises facilities that provide truly memorable customer experiences, while demonstrating excellence in every aspect of their businesses.
Brian Taylor, chair of More Community Leisure Trust, which operates the centre in partnership with Serco Leisure, said:
