La Locanda Celebrates 16 Consecutive Years of Ospitalità Italiana Recognition

La Locanda, the renowned Italian restaurant in Gisburn, Lancashire, is celebrating a remarkable achievement as it receives the prestigious Marchio Ospitalità Italiana award for the 16th consecutive year. This esteemed certification, granted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK, recognises restaurants that uphold the highest standards of authentic Italian hospitality, culinary excellence, and tradition.

The brand Ospitalità Italiana abroad was created in 2010, dedicated only to Ristoranti Italiani nel Mondo with the aim of identifying Italian restaurant businesses abroad that maintain strong links with Italian tradition.

Chef Maurizio Bocchi will travel to London on 26th March to attend the exclusive award ceremony at Giannino Mayfair, where the UK’s top Italian restaurants will be honoured. The event is invitation-only and serves as a platform to celebrate the outstanding contributions of Italian restaurateurs who are dedicated to preserving Italy’s rich gastronomic heritage.
