With a background as a children’s entertainer and nursery nurse, I’d spent years supporting other families and bringing joy to little ones. So I thought, why not create something magical for my own baby—and for other parents who might be craving connection too?
At just four months postpartum (and running on a lot of coffee and baby cuddles), I decided to go for it. I launched my own baby group—starting with a simple post on social media and a hope that someone might show up. To my surprise and delight, a lovely group of parents (most of them familiar faces!) came along to that very first session. Word spread, and week by week, the group grew into something truly special.
One of the best parts? Getting to enjoy every moment alongside my own baby, now seven months old. We explore lights, textures, music, and sensory magic together. It’s everything I loved providing for other children—but now I get to experience it as a mum, too.
Creating this group has been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made. It’s turned my maternity leave into something unforgettable—full of new friendships, baby giggles, and real connection. Each themed session, from “Under the Sea” to “At the Circus,” is packed with fun, and watching both babies and parents light up is the best reward.
If you’re local and looking for a friendly, relaxed space to play and connect—come join us!
Sessions currently run Tuesdays at 10am (term time only) at the Bailey and Ariyah Academy of Dance on Stafford Road in Dudley.
