Resident Pat, along with some of the Camberley Manor team, visited the school at pick-up time to greet parents, children, and faculty with a selection of complimentary snacks—delicious, nutritious, and thoughtfully prepared to promote a healthy lifestyle.
This community initiative aimed to encourage balanced eating habits while fostering intergenerational connections. The residents were delighted to take part, enthusiastically handing out the treats and engaging with families. Pat shared, “It’s been a lovely afternoon meeting so many young faces. I hope they enjoyed the snacks!”
The specially curated menu featured protein balls, fresh fruit pots, hummus with vegetable crudités, and fruit smoothies — each made fresh on-site by Camberley Manor’s catering team and packed with superfoods.
Lakeside Primary School’s Assistant Head Teacher, Emma Fell, expressed her gratitude: “It’s been a wonderful finish to our week, and we’re thankful to the team and residents of Camberley Manor for donating their time and offering our children and parents such a fantastic selection of nutritious snacks.”
This heartwarming event was a perfect way to round off the initiative, reinforcing Camberley Manor’s commitment to wellbeing and community engagement.
