Key Changes Taking Effect:

  • Service 52/53 will now start and end at Chichester Bus Station, improving punctuality.
  • Service 60 will benefit from more frequent trips and better connections to trains.
  • Coastliner 700 will see a revised timetable and restored routes in Yapton.
  • New 24-hour Coastliner 700 service, running daily between Chichester, North Bersted, Bognor Regis, and Hotham Park.

These improvements, made possible through West Sussex County Council’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) and Department for Transport funding, reflect Stagecoach South’s commitment to delivering more convenient, reliable, and accessible public transport for the community.

Mel McDougall, Operations Manager for Stagecoach in Chichester, said: "We are excited to introduce these improvements, which will make bus travel even more convenient and reliable for our passengers. By working closely with West Sussex County Council and securing BSIP funding, we are able to provide more frequent journeys and introduce the 24-hour Coastliner 700 service. These enhancements will benefit residents, visitors, and local businesses alike."
