The County Durham-headquartered firm is set to build up to 109 high quality family homes at its Cornfields site on the southern edge of Yarm, with the first properties expected to be ready for buyers to move into early next year.

Banks is now holding a launch event at the nearby Crathorne Hall Hotel between 5pm and 8pm on Wednesday 7th May to introduce the development to potential homebuyers.

Members of the Banks Homes team will be on hand to talk to visitors about the 11 different property designs that will feature at The Cornfields, which will range from three to five bedrooms, while plots will be available for buyers to reserve off plan.

A number of expert advisors will also be there for attendees to speak to, including financial advisors InTouch Financial, Bridgfords Estate Agents and solicitors TBI Law, while kitchen designs from Omega Kitchens and bathroom designs from Porcelanosa will also be on show.

All the properties at The Cornfields will be fitted with Hive smart heating systems, air source heat pumps and electric vehicle car charging points, while a number of the house types will also come with underfloor heating.

They will also include spacious gardens, three-quarter height windows, bi-fold doors, Porcelanosa bathrooms and Omega kitchens.

Aisling Ramshaw, head of sales and marketing at Banks Homes, says: “Banks Homes is focused on creating sustainable, contemporary living spaces in desirable locations that enrich our customers’ lives and The Cornfields certainly lives up to this ambition.

“This fantastic development is just a ten-minute walk from the centre of Yarm, one of the region’s most beautiful and sought-after places to live, and we can’t wait to show visitors to our launch event everything that it will offer.”

The Cornfields is the third development site that Banks Homes has brought forward since its launch by the Banks Group two years ago, with construction work nearing completion at the luxury Symeon Court development on the Mount Oswald development in Durham City.

The first residents are about to move into their new homes at Banks Homes’ first large-scale development, Cathedral Meadows in West Rainton, while further development sites across the North East and Yorkshire are set to be launched in the coming months.

Aisling Ramshaw adds: “Banks Homes is creating a new blueprint for contemporary living across the North East and Yorkshire through the creation of high specification contemporary properties that are designed by life.

“We’re excited to be introducing our brand into the Tees Valley and to be adding another location into our growing portfolio of high-quality residential developments.”
