Founded nearly a century ago in 1926, Castleford Tigers has a rich history in English rugby and continues to be a formidable presence in the Super League.
The club, which plays its home games at The Jungle (Wheldon Road), is at the heart of the Castleford community and regularly see thousands of fans in attendance.
The Tigers’ many successes includes four Challenge Cup triumphs, and finishing as League Leaders in 2017.
The contribution made by the homebuilder includes a player sponsorship for one of the Tigers’ newest recruits, Brad Singleton, who is a seasoned prop forward and former grand final and Challenge Cup winner.

Barratt and David Wilson Homes has submitted a planning application at the former Nestle site close to the Tigers’ ground on Wheldon Road that could see over 150 new homes being built.
